In A Moments Confession Of SilenceA Poem by John Patrick Robbins AKA GonzoThis is just something that came of the top of my head I wrote on a bar napkin. It was a water color cast im the darkest shade of grey. Emotions often drain us. Friends just make a habbit of fading away.
And how did it feel when alone you did stand? A kiss in memory. A broken ego with a twisted thorn and rose in hand.
Street signs of my past still appear if ever you care to see. Gutters collect trash. Paper sailboats taken away with the thought that once understood me.
It was a moment and still I recall. The past a bitter wine of choice. Maybe tommorow I retrace my fragments my nights are spent reading from a bac alleys wall.
How will we forget when we still linger in taste of emptyness and a smell perfumed passion may i only confide. That cold are the winters but none may compare to thoose that lay frozen from inside. © 2011 John Patrick Robbins AKA GonzoReviews
