The Moment It Was

The Moment It Was

A Poem by John Patrick Robbins AKA Gonzo
"

This is one of these off the topf my head writes not good but so it is amigos. Flustration echos my thoughts these days and the past isa snake that often slithers in memory

"

My words stuck free as birds trapped in cage .
Drinks  with water fires of past.
My times running with false ends so we begin another day.

We tasted it in moments sure we would grasp tommorow unclear.
Rainbows in cloudy skies afterthoughts clense my visions of nightmares reprise.

Fought battles only gather scars and mine flow like a highways
line unending.

Past moments call but seldom answer the sober thought.
Hourglass moments plague me still.
As the days fade with little resolve.
