Trapped/Of A Dreams Nightmare ReflectionA Poem by John Patrick Robbins AKA GonzoI really dont belive we as writers should have to explai work for in my ow work i go wherever the work takes me.Like the water left from the tide. Between the rocks in a pool I remain left to stay in a a place i no longer care to be. Freedom is air. No breath can escape as it moves without my knowledge in a idots thought.
So have we come to a end in a start of a long regret? Forced in plessure torn in hate. The cover may change but the story has never changed my dear.
Sunsets see more than the fading light. Like wine in a barrel thoughts lay to rot only to be taken and turned into something that I cannot control. Yet Ive created without choice.
My journey now past begins with a role I choose not to play. When season's bleed of bitter lies. Maybe voices can speak of the reason. But no longer can I stay.
The water trapped must often dream of the tide. Past is of a iced regret. Into life's ever growing nightmare I confide © 2011 John Patrick Robbins AKA GonzoReviews
