The Strength of Truth

The Strength of Truth

A Poem by Gregoria Somol Ahmed
"

One of courage, and it deserves to be celebrated.

"

In shadows deep, where silence reigned,

A heart was bruised, yet uncontained.
Though whispers stung and friends took flight,
You stood your ground, embraced the light.

The weight of blame, a heavy shroud,
Yet still you rose, both fierce and proud.
For truth, though lonely, lights the way,
A guiding star, a brand new day.

Each step you took, though fraught with pain,
Brought forth respect, a clearer gain.
In trials faced, through darkest nights,
You found the strength in sacred rights.

Though some would falter, turn away,
Your spirit shone, come what may.
With God beside you, moral and strong,
You carved a path where you belong.

For loss may linger, friends may fade,
But true connection, respect, is made.
In honesty’s embrace, you stand tall,
A testament to the truth in us all.

So carry on, through storm and strife,
With every breath, reclaim your life.
For in the heart where faith is sewn,
You’ve found the love that’s truly grown.
