Raped by Zeus (or other pretenders)

Raped by Zeus (or other pretenders)

A Poem by Gomer LePoet
"

hidden in the dark - behind the guise of a poet

"

Raped by Zeus

(or other pretenders)

seduced by the swan

Leda was the victim

entranced by the

thoughts of pornography

hidden as real poetry

disguised as golden rain

Danae held her breath

enticed into a dream state

as Perseus golden tongue

talked about the stars

Callisto unable to bear

the jealous disdain

of a pretender

lurking in the dark

the revengeful Artemis

her lover miles away

Alcmene seduced by muscular

Herculaneam smile

masking the intentions

of his real

desires to capture

the hearts of all maidens

I like this. True love or just studies of what love is based upon. Isn't mythology and seductive tales great. Very beautiful.

Those Gods like the beautiful woman. They have many good tales for us to think about. Good stories in your poem. Took me back to my favorite subject. Myth and tale. Thank you for sharing your amazing poetry.

Stumbled on this one. An interesting point of view considering I have found writing such as that what is spoken of here... under your name and by your pen. Causes me to wonder if this is internal dialogue meant for your listening - you being the pretender or if you speak of others in judgement. Nicely executed...
