My Lonely Heart -Day 2

Sunday has arrived

the sun is shinning

I awaken with sleepy eyes

still yearning for more

more sleep maybe

more time to dream

I check the E-mail

hoping beyond hope

but

there are no messages

I awaken

every morning

hoping

that some words have arrived

from maybe late

the night before

or early this morning

I love to read

her words

sometimes

she even tells me

she has missed me

sometimes

she even tells me

she loves me

I know

that she does

but I love to hear

hear her say those words

but today

no words

was not expecting any

but I could still hope

maybe

I should go back

go back to sleep

and dream

dream she hears

my thoughts

across the miles
