It takes more than magic

The Wizard

He was a wizard of a ten-thousand dreams

making magical moments come alive

but he could not capture love it seems

the love he so desperately needed to survive

she was a maiden of simple desire and needs

afraid of giving her heart completely

his slight of hand planting love seeds

caught her eye but not everything you see

his ways of spells and potions sometimes rejected

left him wondering and full of fear

his rantings of control left tears collected

further away rather than more near

his books of knowledge left no words of wisdom

his heart left lonely full of despair

no queen of hearts for his kingdom

his magic gone his heart needing repair

Oh the wonderful wizard of Love....Sounds like he has captured her heart...her love...maybe he just didnt realize it...
