Gently Flowing

Gently Flowing

A Poem by Gomer LePoet
"

whispers of the mind

"

Gently Flowing

a shallow creek winding past

your hair in the breeze

the tears of a lonely woman

words so sweetly cast

dreams of now and then

the banner of your future

vast fields of wheat and rye

do you remember when

the distant galaxies ever more

roads winding down the mountain

Ave Maria in the church

the reapers robes at your door

I like this. The . . . complexities are simple, but affective.

this flows so softly and effortlessly...beautiful memories, though sad...but so well penned...
