Noma Road

how can I ever explain just exactly what I've lost

there are no words that can possibly convey

it's much more valuable than money the final cost

my soul, my heart, my world what more can I say

now I am walking down this darkened lonely road

looking over my shoulder foolishly hoping to see

the beautiful eyes gazing out from behind the curtain

knowing that there too also lies another one who's lonely

this creature the daughter of gods and goddesses

with such beauty that she takes your breath away

now that I have looked upon her I surely must confess

I will continue walking this lonely road everyday

Zeus and Godiva would be so very very proud

she ruled my heart so extremely gentle and kind

her deep penetrating whispers so soft like a cloud

like a secret potion the essence totally filling my mind

I must have drifted off into another land of time

another place where I certainly did not belong

this royal road was for a higher class than mine

my utterances now like the ending of a song

so I'll try to find a way to carry on with my life

knowing that my princess has released the overload

struggle through the pain of the jagged bladed knife

the journey comes to close on Noma Road
