When is Goodbye Forever?

Though time has passed 

it seems so long ago

when you said those final words

of goodbye to me

when did you think

it would really end 

in my heart and soul

did you think I would forget

and brush it aside

like an eastern breeze

goodbye is not forever

like the universe

it goes on and on

I never forgot

I never said goodbye

I never stopped 

loving you
