they promised to protect our world

to lead us out of the wilderness

fix the undaunted problems

but instead they created a bigger mess

the talking heads never stop

the rhetoric of huge proportions

leaders ha I think not

seem more like failed abortions

pick your poison red or blue

pick elephant or donkey

slow moving all consuming pachyderms

or stubborn asses screeching like a monkey

pad their own pockets fulfill their own dreams

taking care of their buddies

telling lies preparing another sham

another term of the royal scam

I agree with your thoughts. The two party system had failed. We are led by men controlled by lobbyist. I could write a book about the foolishness. I was a Soldier. I fought for the freedom to drink, eat and reach for my dreams without government involvement. Great music and powerful thoughts. Thank you for the outstanding poem and thoughts.
