Tat-trums No. 1

Tat-trums No. 1

A Poem by gombeggar

Tats

I’ll never

The spot I’d never get

I was made to get it

What a thought in fashion, in décor

She showed me

Each and every one

Above and below

Her parchment body

Beneath her clothes

Behind her usual shows

Inclined to eat cake whence offered to me

But never a needle if ever, I concede

Never

Never

Got no recollection of that need

This one that she showed

Was changed a few times

To cover a name

To change up a rhyme

I touched one then two

Felt them undone

You would too

Feeling brazen

Just for a moment

Symbols there etched

I was a hornet

Everyone’s got them

Up and down and on all sides

‘Specially the girls

Not to dismiss the guys

To show them and flaunt them

To keep them as hidden surprise

Imaginerium of the flesh

Look what’s to see

Candid photos at their best

A moment in choice

Once inked it’s all gone on like the rest

Tats

They are here

Then they are there

‘Round in spiral

From the tip top

To the bottom of one’s leg

Don’t care too much for those needle graphic ways
