You Can See Through It

You Can See Through It

A Poem by Llysofar

I don’t know if

This pane

Should
Be

In or out,

Cut to pieces,

Held up for a while,

Ignored completely

Painted over,

Or better still,

Make a stained glass
Feature.

Now,

This boat
Always has a mast,

Even when
The sail is down...

word play makes this a distinct piece ... and the flow of images as smooth as glass, and that conundrum at the end, leaves us with a beautiful image and a question ...

Something about this seems so dreary, yet there is a sense of hope, particularly in the lines..

Better still,
Maked a stained glass
Feature.

Complete understated beauty.

Excellent.
