My Evenings

My Evenings

A Poem by Patricia

I end my evenings in meditation,
With thankfulness and prayer.
Sometimes desperate for answers,
Sometimes without a care.

I end my evenings alone,
Reflecting on my day,
Praying to God for His hand on me,
In all His heartfelt ways.

I end my evenings in silence,
With value and concord.
Safe from worldly temptations,
That might be hard to ignore.

I end my evenings with love,
No matter what I do.
Because in the end, all that matters to me
Is the authenticity of You.

Another wonder piece of poetry written by the profound and gifted mind of Mia i like this alot because you are seeking peace and quiet with a touch of tranquilty in this poem, allowing yourself that restful special time with god and realising how everything just pales into insignificance when we are not within contact to the almighty one.
Reflection comes easily for you as your day concludes safe in the knowledge that god's phone is always there to ring and he is open 24/7 for a time when we need to communicate and share our burdens of despair.

Mia. This is awesome. You must be so faithful to God. This is a great illustration of how prayer brings us close to God. I love how you dedicate time to God there, and the sanctity of the poem- just you and God and love without distractions. I'm inspired!

This is very profound, I really like it. Connecting to God is all important and I like how you spell that out in your wonderful poem. Prayer is so important and being still so we can hear Him in our lives.
