Another Lie

You're just another boy, trying

to break another heart, trying to

hurt another soul. I won't fall for these

tricks again I won't fall for another lie I

am stronger than this but I am falling into

this puddle of blood, this hole filled with

people I used to know. Before you

killed them all.

Be careful with your definition of poetry. While I'm usually not a stickler for details. Poetry is not randomly spaced lines, the lines are there for points of emphasis, thought process, rhyming purposes, complete thoughts, etc, etc. Any of these by themselves, together, without some, etc, etc. What you have written here is prose. I'd recommend reading into it a little more. While poetry is what we want it to be when we write it for our eyes only, when you publish it, it's a different story. But don't take this as being rude, this is meant to be constructive:) You have some good ideas, I like it. Good Job.
