In a perfect world

In a perfect world

A Poem by g.n.b

In a perfect world
storms would save us
We wouldnt give in without a fight
Stand up for every mans right
Dreams shine like the burning light
The dust would not divide
the rich from the poor
paper would make us happy
The days did divide the night
Feel for a mans plight
In a perfect world
Your eyes wouldnt lie
The world could be free
Men will be born equal
Love could be eternal
The path would be easy
The beach would welcome us
the blacks didnt fight the white
The pretty girls did not lie
the birds were not chained to the sky
The angels didnt cry
and bad men did die
Hands to save us
Our voices were heard
The marching order never reached us
The army was  a circus
when the music was loud
It was our only friend
In a perfect world
The truth was spoken
our sins were forgiven
the world was ours
The world was ours
