"Bael" (Demon #1)

"Bael" (Demon #1)

A Poem by Ars Goetia Poetry
"

King Bael (Baal). The First demon from the 'Ars Goetia'.

"
                               "Bael" (Demon #1)

I am Bael from the Goetia, the Egyptian God Osris in disguise/
Escaping from Soloman's bindings, no Humanity shows in my eyes
My Sigil the image of a stick figure, extended crosses in both hands/
My humour is formal religion, designed by angels to entrap all man
Successfully drawing thousands, of angelic followers into my lair/
As a silent attack upon the angels, and three heads is how I appear
As I am Bael the king of the east, the ruler to sixty-six legions/
Emerging from an inverted crown, I am the king of all demons
Many subconscious reasons, why many humans feel an impulse/
They worship me as a spirit, I appear reptillian and my voice is coarse
I can make myself invisible, and summon the invisible upon request/
I am a 'Early human father', the fallen angels architect
My dialect is that of hebrew, but yet very Alien when I appear/
I can appear as a man, a cat or a toad, my cunning reflected here
Definately not the one to trust, but neither the one to blame/
As I represent three elements, of what is the evolved human brain.

Thank you very much. That's really kind of you to say :)
nice write...i don't fear demons, through the course of my life i have been visited before by things and souls unholy...my attitude is that man does himself harm enough without the help of demons or angels, for man is inherently evil and does enough against himself and others to insure his place in the bowels of fiery redemption and atonement...those souls who believe in a loving god are too stupid to realize that they don't deserve a loving god, for they point their dirty, nasty little fingers at each other and judge, without authority and with impunity. as for your exploration along demonology, be careful what you wish for....

Thank you very much. Please do :)
So awesome, I loved it! The flow, the rhyme, it was all very good. I have a copy of Michelle Belanger's book "The Dictionary of Demons", so I am very familiar with all of them. I have also looked over most of the Goetia, and the Keys of Solomon, among other texts such as the Grand Grimoire and the Grimoirum Verum. They're very interesting books and manuscripts, and something I've been interested in for some time.

All of that aside, though this was nothing short of completely brilliant. I'm going to read your others for sure!

Very very cool...nice structure and form. I really liked it. Found 1 tiny mistake...it should read "I am AN 'Early human father"....but damned good anyway. Looking forward to reading more.
