Duke Valefor (Malaphar, Malephar, Valafar, Valefar). The Sixth Demon from the 'Ars Goetia'.
"Valefor" (Demon #6)
I am 'Valefor' the strange spirit, with the long flowing beard/ And have been considered as a 'lesser' demon, over the years I'm the sixth spirit, an evil trickster, with the head of a thief/ With a sharp braying voice, and unpleasant manner when I speak I was chosen by soloman, to govern a total of ten legions/ Of spirits while convincing those familiar, to steal for no reason And my seal must be worn, whether thou familiar or not/ Because my rank is that of duke, an almighty amongst my squad.

an interesting subject matter you're developing here. i would like to see these poems have more of a chanting quality, something that really makes it sound like the speaker is summoning each demon with his words, specially designed poetic chants. power words. and in that you could at the same time give us an understanding of each demon, maybe the chant has to assemble and describe the demon in words before it will assemble itself in reality. these just being suggestions, you could personalize it too, by taking various aspects of your own being, things in your personality that correspond well to what is known abouteach being. then it becomes seventy two pieces of you, and your seventy two demons.....interesting stuff. are you a satanist?

I, personally am not a Satanist, but at the same time I am very keen on the subject and the rewards it can bring to ones life ;)
Personally I f*****g like it. I do not know much about the subject, but it's well done and entertaining to read. Though this was my first of the many, is each demon a different emotion? Or just different demonic reasoning for the things we do? And I will state I have not read Ars Goetia, And Only know a little about Dante's Inferno. This has made me interested in both, for whatever reason.

Yes every last demon has their very own personality & deviousness. All are very entertaining characters, yet some are far more dangerous than others. Some are completely harmless, yet others pose a real threat to mankind if summoned for too long. Both are very interesting reads, though Dante's 'nine levels of hell' is a real eye opener. This poem can be found on my main poetry page @ Writerscafe.org/MrDunne :)
I do not understand why this would be a "provoking" way for you to share information. I don't think yu are trying to open closed minds, just post your poetry about these ennities.

I gain most of my information from two places. The first being "The ars Goetia, the second being Dante's Inferno. I would say I'm a strong person who stands up for what he believes in and also a controversial poet who writes thought provoking lyrics to open the closed minds. I hope all is well, Mr Dunne.

Do you channel these beings Goetia and Dante's Inferno?
I like strong people who stands up for what they believe but why do you choose a provoking way to do it? I believe it is easier to open closed minds by being sympathetic, don't you? Sending you my greetings. Shandra

I'm sure you have your reasons to be the way you are. I respect your choices knowing that we all try to find a way to deal with Life. I just feel sorry that it seems not to be much joy in your existemce. Are you sure THIS is the best and only way for you?

Are you joking? My life is more than complete, I haven't had to work a day's work in the last 4 years nor do I see myself ever having to work again, therefore being able to follow my true passion which is poetry. Retired at 31 isn't bad going don't you think lol My father is still working in his early 50's, I pity him lol
