"Vapula" (Demon #60)

"Vapula" (Demon #60)

A Poem by Ars Goetia Poetry
"

Duke Vapula (Naphula). The Sixtieth Demon from the 'Ars Goetia'.

"
                               "Vapula" (Demon #60)

Appearing as a Lion with Gryphon wings, a great Duke and a strong/
I can make man subtil and wonderful, in Philosophy like the stone
The commander of thirty-six legions, of Demons all fallen from above/
My Alchemical sign is Venus, copper, and my Tarot is Three of Cups
The sixtieth spirit captured by the king, of Israel when he reigned here/
Of which Solomon collects 666, talents of gold each and every year.
