LIE AWHILE AND WORK A LOT

LIE AWHILE AND WORK A LOT

A Poem by Onyeuche Godson
"

Most people give in to laziness. As such, this poem speaks on the necessity of hard working, which alludes eternity...

"

Lie awhile and work a lot

Walk in street of faith and love

Love of light and not the world

Love of world can take your work

Let the wind of glory blow

Glow awhile and blow a lot

Lie a while and work a lot

Do the work of greater heights

Never slumber and ride the kite

Keep the fire on at night

Sleep awhile and do some work

Blow awhile and glow a lot

Lie awhile and work a lot

Bring to world a gift of sight

A gift that let the Angels sing

Songs of birds and mighty praise

Let the wind of glory blow

Glow awhile and blow a lot

Lie awhile and work a lot

Let the wind of glory blow

Show your talent o’er the sky

Have your name be written by God

Never slumber and ride the kite

Blow awhile and glow a lot
