Somewhere in the Space-time ContiuumA Poem by Godisjustanastronaut
In a moment of weightlessness,
with my emotions floating out of my ears and her shoulder brushing against mine-- I sat there, suspended in time. The flicker of the movie screen reflecting off her glasses, was enough to catch my eye. Her braids fell fluidly over her shoulders-- her bangs met the top of her glasses perfectly, and her stripped shirt was as bold as her personality. A flash on the screen drew my eye rendered me weary, And left me heavy hearted as gravity kicked back in © 2016 Godisjustanastronaut |
