Concrete-abstract-symbolA Poem by Jeremia1-29-09 This is a poem where I had to pick an object and write about it. Can you guess what the object is?Concrete-abstract-symbol
When held in a child’s grasp. It holds an unseen meaning. When you see their eye’s sparkle Like a gold mine shining in the light It sets the soul of you heart on fire With and unknown feeling that Brings tears to your eyes. When You see that child’s face light up As if it were a brilliant Christmas light You can’t help but want to give more Who knew that something so small Could render such a reaction. When released from the child’s hand It takes one bounce and returns to a Awestruck child. Off the child goes Down the road bouncing with a smile. Who knew that little trinket could bring So much emotion to you and the child In whom hold it. © 2013 JeremiaAuthor's Note
