He alone

1-1-13 Not that great.

The weight of things runs deep

But the arm of my savior is long

Long enough to stretch the entirety

And bring me out of the chasm of despair

 

He alone can rescue from the darkness

He alone can reach into the shadow

He alone can shine the light bright enough

Bright enough to cut through even the deepest dark

 

He alone can deliver us from oppression

He alone has the power to set people free

He alone can break the chains that hold us tight

Chains wrapped so tight they suffocate us
