Hey Brittany

Hey Brittany

A Poem by Elizabeth

Hey Brittany,
How do I care for thee?
The gleam in your eye,
radiant as a midsummer's sky
Such scintillating spirit shown,
praise for which ends unknown
Such a sweet, little smile
lifts up my heart, you know?
Compassion and care, to me worth while,
to everyone that you show
Never cry, never fear;
Don't ask why, my cares are real
Every little difference, I truly love
A rose by any other name,
would be as sweet
Innocent and sweet,
to me the same
Just to see you, 't is a treat
Just remember-to me you matter,
this is why I stop to flatter;
To show you just how much I care,
to hold you tight, and ensnare,
to let you know, I'm always there,
to hold you tight, my one so fair
