Late for Ballet

Late for Ballet

A Poem by Glowheart
"

A child's picture book poem

"
Late for Ballet.
Rush! Rush! Rush!
Comb your hair.
With the pink handled brush.

Late for Ballet.
Run! Run! Run!
Slide into those tights.
Put your hair in a bun.

Late for Ballet.
Quick! Quick! Quick!
Put pins in your hair.
Don't get car sick.

Late for Ballet.
Hurry! Hurry! Hurry!
Find your leotard.
Come home to hot curry

Late for Ballet.
Ah! just on time!
And now we've completed.
This strange little rhyme.

This is a fun poem! I would imagine it as a children's poem. It's rolls of the tounge very easily! It kind of made me laugh, thinking of all the times I'm late for something and have too much to do to get ready and then I finally get there and I'm perfectly on time.

Jeje funny poem. Very cool! I imagined it being recited by a teacher and a bunch of kids doing movements according to what is being said in the poem!
