UnfixableA Poem by GMHeftShe closes her eyes wishing she could do the same within her mind's eye shut out what was seen and what flashes by guilt and shame unbidden and forlorn fill her mouth bitter and foul guilt for feeling as she does shame for what she has become wishing for what was lost that for just a shortwhile was found Hating herself more and more with each passing day tearing out her heart as she feels things slip away what does it matter why should anyone care when she can't care for herself fix what has gone so wrong
