It is a poem embraced by darkness and fear, but still precious. I specially liked this metaphor: "I was riding my fears"
At firs, I thought it was gonna be about a poem that talks about facing fears and overcome them , but then I realized that it was, somehow, about learning to live with them.

This is absolutely wonderful. It gave me chills when I read it. I interpreted this poem as the thoughts of someone who views death as ever approaching (it really is), and wants to live with risk and be daring. Whether I am wrong or not, your poem certainly touched me.

i don't know about death, but this is something about my nightmares...when people say good night and sweet dreams...that makes me cry because its been like four months there's only nightmares, no sweet dreams...looks like the sandman don't like me.

dreams usually reflect the experiences of our conscious mind, in other words, maybe there is some issue in your life that is needed to be solved. Hope you are better now

To face one's demons, to stare into the depths of your fears. I wonder if there are any who do it as much as writers do. Really liked the ending .

When you're riding with your own fears, it's like drowning yourself or putting your feet deeper into the ground.
Well, anyone has fear...it's only how each control it...not to ride with it.
