Will you bungee?

Will you bungee?

A Poem by Glen Weimann
"

Because of AI, the rules about who owns a creative work and who actually wrote it are getting ever trickier. For example. I wrote the first draft of this, but then there were 4 iterations with AI.

"

Will you bungee?

To be?
The ledge is yours now.
No hand will push,
Nor tether pull.

The sky calls, softly at first"
A whisper, a dare,
A question only you can answer.

I see you glance back.
No shame in it.
But forward, there’s a roar,
And oh, the quiet that follows.

When you leap"
Not for me, not for them,
But for you"
I’ll hear it.

Your voice splitting the air,
A shout, a prayer, a curse
Wrenching loose from somewhere
Deeper than fear.

And then the line tightens.
The wind knows your name.
And suddenly, you know it too.

Glen Weimann
My first attempt inspired this and I had interactions with AI after each of its subsequent drafts, but in essence these are AI words. So who gets the millions from the royalties?
