Dare to fly

Dare to fly

A Poem by Glen Weimann
"

I stood by the famous Bungee jump bridge just outside Queenstown NZ and watched several people pause before jumping. Rather them than me, but hats off to them!

"

Do you dare to fly?

The ledge is yours

No-one will urge you or demand

Do you see the sky?

The opened doors

Wait if you need - it's in your hands

If you're looking back

From where you came

No-one will doubt you or deny

Then you hear the wind

Call out your name

The you-to-be - your wheres and whys

Your life is out there; If you fly

Then

You are falling

And all of us pray

As you let out all those fears they can hear a world away

The line takes your weight

And you smile

Not from your face, but deep somewhere

The wind knows you now

You rest a while

Now take your place; you are prepared

Yes take your place

You are prepared
