Imperfection Is Beauty

Ignorance is a masked weapon the intelligent despise
Fear is boldness and courage wrapped up in disguise
Impatience is a war caused by handfuls of delays
Hypocrisy is both a dangerous and difficult maze
Racism is the destruction of a world of equality
Anger boils like lava when we're hit with reality
Arrogance is a knife piercing the insecure flesh
Weakness is targeted by bullets that are fresh
Judgement is the key that unlocks streaming tears of pain
Rejection is what causes these tears to fall down like rain
Heartbreak is as cold as the wind during the winter
Lust is a poison that will leave your soul splintered
Envy is the match that lit this entire world on fire
Greed is power created from passion and desire
Pride is a bullet and our hearts are its destination
Lies are nothing more than merely open invitations
To the deepest hole of regret and indecision
Triggering desperate urges to make revisions
Little do we know these imperfections are
What helped to shape the best of us
It may be hard to believe at first but
The truth speaks for the rest of us
Imperfection is perfection
Resurrection is protection
Perfection is just an illusion
To which we've become slaves
But imperfection is beauty
And beauty is what we crave
We don't wanna be told
Who or what we should be
We exist to live freely
We don't live to please
Imperfection shouldn't be
an excuse to change who you are
because who you are is unique
and your qualities make you a star
To be just who you are
Is imperfectly fine
Imperfection is perfection

Brilliant. There are some lines you could shorten to work into the beat and rhythm but overall, this was great. It's something so many try to say but only a few can.

My favourite lines were:

Imperfection is perfection
Resurrection is protection
Perfection is just an illusion
To which we've become slaves
But imperfection is beauty
And beauty is what we crave
