UnbreakableA Poem by Glenn McCraryYou say I'm ugly
But you're looking at my pictures
You say you're my friend
But you talk behind my back
You like my style
But you say it's wack
People say that I'm gay
But girls like to be around me
I can't help it
If my personality is astounding
People that I bring the rain
But they bring me the sun
Because their hatred
Is what motivates me to run
People say that I'm a pushover
And that I'm stuck
But personally
It's just my luck
People say that I'm a loser
And that I am mistaken for a lost cause
But in the end
I seem to get all of the applause
People should mind their own business
And leave me alone
If wanted their opinion
I would ask for it
Otherwise I do my best
To ignore it
I never look for trouble
But trouble seems to always find me
Sometimes I wonder what my enemies
Envision in this fantasy
But I could care less
Of what they think about me
Because they only insult other people to make themselves feel better
But they never take the time to realize what they are doing
Because they act out of fear and jealousy
And they never consider other people's feelings
It makes them happy to see others suffer
But they only make us tougher
Than we really are
So when similar people cross my path
I just turn my back on them and laugh
Because nobody that insults me
Is worth my time
So I think I'll find better a way
To take advantage of mine
