The Rest Of The Story

The Rest Of The Story

A Story by GlendaK
"

I removed the erotic

"
One day, I ventured into the unlocked door of that cozy cubicle.
He was sitting there at a small tv table and reading a small book about the size of his palm.
He was entranced with the details inside this small book so when I walked easily up to the table beside him, he was quite taken aback that somebody had entered his private space.
.
"Don't worry," I soothed him in my most calming voice,
I'm not here to do any harm," and I gently removed his glasses,
"You won't need these, I promise." I whispered as sweetly as I could. I laid the glasses safely in his jacket pocket as it hung from his chair.
.
This was the man who came to my dreams every night.
I could be dreaming about what I had for dinner and suddenly he would walk up to my table, sauntering in a confident disposition and adding,
"Is there "anything" else I can get for you?"
I literally sighed and closed my eyes in dramatic hesitation as if I was thinking it over.
