Sometimes it's not going your way,
Sometimes you have to find another way,
Sometimes you got to pray,
Lay down your sheild & armor,
Recoil, forget about the destruction, all the turmoil,
Soil wash away the filth, the blood & sweat,
Let it all go down the grain,
Pain is temporary, so they say,

Life is going to pick at you, this is true for anyone,
Won & done, just to come at you again & again,
Fend off the birds of prey,
Gray clouds, pouring rain, thunder & lightning strike will hit you,
Do stay the course, you're not going anywhere,
Share the torments, explain the shame, no blaming game,
Tame the doubters, the strong arms keep you at bay,
Day or night, you're the symbol of hope,
Cope with it, enjoy every sunrise, every sundown,
Crescent moon, wear it like a crown,
Sound of silence renders everything peaceful,
Beautiful horizon, tranquil twilight,
Shed a tear, it's only you to witness such a sight,
Night tremors, distance shadows & hallucinations all play a part of you,
Due to the conflicts of war, there you stand with no surrender,
Defender of all that is seen & unseen,

Wage the true value of your worth,
