Electricity

Electricity

A Chapter by Glen Yumang Manese

Electricity

Oh, my dear Tesla - if I count to 1, 2, & 3.

I believe you’d jump out of your seat.

Better pick up the trash I left.

Expect Thomas Edison to come by.

Sigh of relief you beat him to the punch.

Lunch date with the pigeons is at 3.

Just like the meal at 8, you ordered.

Electricity is all around us.

Trust me, this gets better with AC.

See this place is a complete mess.

Better invite Consul Benjamin Franklin.

Funding is depleting, almost gone.

A kite, what a novel idea.

Should have come up with that plan.

Before my time, unfortunately.

A lighting rod can power a world over.

Imagine 1, 2, & 3 of them harness together.

People call me, mad scientist.

What do gullible minds know?

A genius already puts into calculus.

Without science is not fiction.

They would all be in the dark.

A spark of electrodes governs them.

Little do they know?

Cannot blame them, off to work.

Nikola, why do they still use tungsten?

There is a better way to make currency.

Give something that last almost forever.

What I offer takes almost out of forever.
