Phenomenon

 

Take me to the place on this adventurous standstill race.

Light never seems to go away, but darkness goes all day.

Feel winter storm, but far from center of equator.

Clothe with warmth and ignite a fire to guide the length.

Experience phenomenon, but go to and fro far from gone.

Sounds like the dizzying escapades of a life's journey. Something like seize the 'ell out of the day but more poetically in tune.
