UprootedA Poem by Gleek4ever21I had wrote a poem about this sort of thing before but i was re-reading it and i decided to write it again better.
It lays perfectly
on the shiny green blades of grass. Beautiful in the way it dances through the wind. So perfect and peaceful. So small and majestic. It doesn't even have to try. It just is. It is evil and malignant in that way. So cruel and severe. How it can illuminate serenity and joy when everyone around it is distressed and hurt. It can watch death and suffering, pain, and loss. Can watch as someone breaks down losing every wall they had up crumble and fall. And still always stay so angelic. I watch now as the daisy sways to the song of the wind. I stare with wonder and jealousy. An urge to pluck it up off its roots and hurl it far out of sight bolts through me. But I realize, if I tear up this fine beauty, there very well might not be a next one. An epiphany dawns on me, a daisy can stay amicable all its life. Hard to obtain but easy to destroy. Anyone could kill the poor defenseless flower. So in exchange for an apparent death. It gets to be serene forever more. Which I think all of us should work on a little more.
