Nothing special, just a late night free-write

Sight

It brings us beauty

through smiling faces

and sunsets with loved ones

Sound 

It brings us joy

from the sound of children laughing

to the gentle "i love you" floating from her lips

Taste

it brings us together

from grandma's secret cheesecake

to the cherry flavored lipstick of your soulmate

touch 

it brings us compassion

from holding your first-born in your arms in the hospital

to the trail of affection trailing from her fingertips as she drags them across your cheek

Smell

it brings us nostalgia

from the smell of your childhood home

to his aroma filling your nose as you put on his jacket
