Two little marks 

A universal message

"I survived

And you can too"

Two little marks

Their meaning heavy

Hard to carry

Impossible to forget

Two little marks

A peaceful protest

"We are here

we mean to stay

The semicolon

Holds one dear to me

Preserving her memory

Within the ink on my wrist
