Storm WarningA Poem by GlassboxesBasically a "Don't cross me" poem.I’ll tell you this once and once only there is little on this earth I cannot live without and even less I’d die for willingly so never let yourself question, never doubt there is little on this earth I cannot live without. There are a precious few things I’d kill for so never let yourself question, never doubt that the ground will tremble when I roll in like a storm. There are a precious few things I’d kill for and they are laced in my mother’s words. The wind alone will shatter your bones, I’m the oncoming storm. When you’ve never seen, never heard the wisdom laced in my mother’s words. If you’ve never felt my love, never been dealt my pain, when you’ve never seen, never heard the beating of my darling’s heart and feel no shame-- If you’ve never felt my love, never been dealt my pain, yet you threaten to burn me down, threaten to cease the beating of my darling’s heart--her thudding refrain-- Hear me howl and drown you out. You'll have no peace. These things I’d die for willingly. I’ll tell you this once and once only. © 2010 GlassboxesAuthor's Note
