Lock and Key

Lock and Key

A Poem by Glarthir

You always ask what's inside my head?
I don't want to leave you without an answer
But if I answer,
You would've chosen not to ask.
I understand but I never learn.

I never knew that you could open that door,
The door that I never knew existed.
I need somebody to answer me
If this is what it really seems.
I've been alive like this way too long.

I never knew that you were big enough to see this.
Now I'm sitting here waiting for more.
You'd leave all you have behind for me,
I am waiting trying hard enough
To decipher that mystery that is you.
