It'll take you, take you by surprise.
It goes without saying,
Don't let it go, keep it inside of you.

Well you gave it all and now it's slippin' through your finger tips.
You're being torn up inside, it's written all over you.
It's making a mess but trying to dig it all up.
When you finally take it all the moment dies.

It goes without saying the moments dead,
Now it's too late and you'll never find it.
You're scared of what you've seen,
But now you can only see it in your dreams now.
