Masterpiece Theater

A Poem by Glarthir

They're all wearing masks, parading around.
Each one is unique in their own special way,
Full of colour, vibrance and joy.
It's apparent that those reflect that of their heart,
So why is mine so cold and dark.
Its darkness reaches the farthest depths,
Of even my memories, those new and old.
I've come to learn, as time to pass,
That those which hurt me,
Prove that I am timid by nature, through and through.
