So Much For That Happy Ending

So Much For That Happy Ending

A Poem by Glarthir

Don't tell me I'm afraid of waking up alone,
'Cause in truth I'm afraid of waking up without you.

I've traded your love for comfort, so much for that happy ending.
Now I make it clear, you have the options, only one way left to go.

She can't hold her own, who would've known?
We call her misery's company since she's got no place to go, no place to call home.

He goes straight, straight for the deep end.
Doesn't hesitate to dive right in, fool.

You only come to my dreams, so dreaming becomes addicting.
It's not healthy, but it's what makes me right.

I hold your strings to haunt your dreams,
Be careful now, be careful now.

I had my chances, I take my one way left to go,
I dive straight, straight for the deep end.
