Moxie

A Poem by Glarthir

I'll forget this now, this being helpless.
I opened my heart to sadness,
In that pain, I was consumed.
Love is the light in that darkness.

I see the burning throne in the sky,
The moon hangs heavy with your sighs.
I'll never forget that you made me feel alone.
Through darkness, I'm overcome.

The waters rise, but your hand carries me.
We know that love will live through the darkness,
Something we must first conquer,
Because I won't let go.

I'll hold on and on.
The world may deny me.
But I choose to believe,
That you're here.
