Coldest Heart

Coldest Heart

A Poem by Glarthir

I'll feed myself to somethin',
I'm losing myself.
There's a hole in my heart that's been cut out of stone.

She can fill the hole,
'Cause I can't do it alone.
If you can hear me, then you can feel me for what I am.

Cold come, cold goes.
It stays in my heart, frozen there
Like a tongue to a flag pole.

I'm a silhouette and now my halo is broken.
I'd hate to disappoint but it's what I do.
Your voice, the solution, is calling to me.

I've been blind to the things I've done,
Tying up these loose ends,
I'm leaving this doubt.

The coldest heart is forever brought back to life
When you throw it into the fire of happiness.
So now it seems you've filled my hole.
