Fruits Of Tragedy

Fruits Of Tragedy

A Poem by Glarthir
"

This is a poem I wrote in Grade 11 for an English assignment.

"
As I cry myself to sleep,
I wonder what I should do without you.
This cliff, it seems so steep.
I watch your face as its colour loses it's hue.

Mother, what should we do for money?
How can we pay for our road ahead?
The days now are never going to be sunny.
These are the moments in which I shall dread.

From now on, my life is everything but clarity.
I only want the courage to move on to flow through me,
I can safely say my life is now complete unfamiliarity.
No one but me has been mournful to this degree

The sun is bright, and I can see what I must do with my existence,
I must live for the both of us; we cannot have coexistence
