Toby book 1: a journey begins

Toby sat on the high rock above the den, watching the sun rise. His adopted siblings, Mori, Flare and Glacia where still fast asleep. "Lazy butts" He said before jumping down and walking into the den. He walked over to Glacia and lightly tapped her ear. Glacia opened her eyes "Toby, i will bite you" she said softly, Toby giggled and did it again, Glacia let out a light Growl "Oh come on Toby leave her alone" Said Flare standing up with a yawn and walking outside. Toby smiled and walked out to "Do you need help hunting today?" Toby asked while jumping on a rock. Flare looked up at him. "Do you hear anything near us?" He asked. Toby perked his big rabbit-like ears, closed his eyes and listened. He opened his eyes and turned his head. "there is a squirrel that way about 400 feet" Answered Toby "Anything bigger?" Asked Flare "Not that i sense.." answered Toby "Mori come, we need to hunt." Said Flare looking back at the den. Mori lifted her head "Ok" She replied, getting up and walking out to Flare. "Toby stay here with Glacia" said Flare before walking off with Mori. Toby went back into the den "Glacia...can we walk?" He asked Glacia lifted her head. "Is something wrong?" Asked Glacia tilting her head Toby lowered his head. Glacia got up "Come on i want to show you something" She said before getting up and walking out, Toby fallowed. After walking for about ten minutes Glacia stopped near a river. Toby tilted his head "are you thirsty?" He asked. Glacia looked back at Toby. "This is where we found you You where all alone... you where so little" she explained Toby sniffed around the river "Then where did i come from..." He asked himself in a low voice. "We think you came from far away, you don't look like any animal we ever knew of" Said Glacia Toby sighed, just as he did They heard a howl. "Flare and Mori are back...come on Toby" Said Glacia walking back towards the den. Toby fallowed. When they got back Toby sat far from the den. "What's wrong with Toby?" Asked Mori "I think he feels out of place, not being a wolf" Answered Glacia Mori looked at Toby then lied down to eat with Flare and Glacia. Even at bed time, Toby remained in the same spot. Flare Mori and Glacia all lied in the den. Toby let out a sigh and lifted his head "OK!" He said with a raised voice. Flare, Mori and Glacia all looked up confused. Toby stood up. "I am going to find my family!" He said. "But Toby, none of us know where they are" said Glacia Toby looked back at her "But they are somewhere out there! Someone will know where i'm from, we can ask along the way" Said Toby. Glacia stood up "I'll go" She said looking at the other two Mori stood up as well "I'm in to" Mori and Glacia looked at Flare. "This is nonsense!" Said Flare standing up "We are only going to get lost! we are chasing another species that we don't even know still exist!" Yelled Flare Toby growled "You may feel ok here because you have your species! I'm not a wolf! You want to stay here fine, but your staying alone!" Said Toby and walked off Glacia and Mori looked at Flare for a moment then fallowed. Flare growled then sighed and fallowed to.
