Forever LoveA Poem by GirlWithAHeart. There is an old man who sits on the park bench peacefully. He watches the kids play on the swings and the birds fly and chase one another. He smiles at the sound of the children's laughter, and the couple in the flowerly grass having a picnic. He enjoys the warm sun against his skin and doesn't mind it's in his eyes. His hands are folded in his lap and he sits comfortably on the wooden bench. He pulls out his wallet, and searches for a picture. He finds one of two kids. And another of a man and a women. He looks up again to the swings and the grass. Both the couple and kids are gone. He then smiles again because they weren't real. They were his memories. His cherished memories with the one he loves. He then turns to his right and looks into the blue eyes, of his wife. "Can you believe how fast we grew up together? " he says. "Yes. Because time goes by fast when your enjoying the moment. And I have been enjoying every moment since the day I met you in that playgroud, and the day you asked me to be your girlfriend in that grass, and the day you asked me to be your wife on this bench. I love you." his wife says. "I love you too sweetheart. You will always be my best friend." They sat there the rest of the evening, holding hands till the moon came out to kiss them goodnight. © 2012 GirlWithAHeart.Author's Note
