Oh there are so many lines, that are so brilliant in this one Sarah, great metaphorical insight, and creativity. This write tells me, it's about love, and love that is too late, or not worth it to hang as beautiful in this gallery, but maybe better, because, all that hangs there, isn't private... and sometimes, a silence between two, can make things much better... again a write that makes you think, and ponder, loved reading it.

Jeez! I was falling in love with your metaphors the whole way through and then when I hit the last four lines I lost my breath. Amazing. I love any poem that can make me stop and rethink the way I view existing as a human. Love, love, love.
Sarah, I know I do not give you the reviews you need and deserve but whenever I read you, your poetry takes my breath away and leaves me speechless and stunned at the intensity, emotion, and imagery that plays as I read - There is no way I can tell you just how amazing a writer you are without repeating myself over and over again which is all I seem to do, ahaha.
Beautiful piece!

Just the fact that you read and enjoy my work is more than I could ever hope for, my friend!
this poem should have a "sold" sign on it...it's a keeper and the gallery would sell this one...
great metaphor...and yes, sometimes we are better off not knowing what we eventually know.
the beginning of a relationship is always best because we do have illusions, we see through rose colored glasses and we experience that "glossed over image" of the other person...and how in love we are...once reality sets in...everything changes...and we want change...
well executed metaphor in this..carried through nicely.

Wow! so many metaphoers, I cant believe it! I loved the way you defined love, as a undefined thing. Usually taken as something perfect, the happiness of life, but love is not always perfect, 'cause no one is perfect.
I liked it a lot, congratulations!
Keep writing such delightfull pieces of art. Someday, they will bellong to a gallery ;D
The quality of your work is always impressive. The details are what stand out to me. Your thoughts are something to think about and hold a lot of truth. Great stuff.
