You have made your secrets seem like real things cast away on a beach somewhere and if someone found them what would they relate them too?
Secrets or beautiful stories of our lives left with no need to be retold that lie quietly in our minds, this is very evocative, thought provoking and took me on a memory trip.
It's amazing how the weight of such secrets might never fill a suitcase; yet, our journey is never lighter for the load. Yes, we all have our secrets. Even the bottom of the river has its stones.
all men have secrets too, women keep them more sufficiently that is why men will never know them.
men will always search for ways to know them an we all hope they will never find them, because they may not turn out to be such secrets after all.
really? you ask
we like your secrets to remain secrets forever.

is not always who we are,
and even eyes steeped in starlight
can lie when necessity demands”~

sensible feet and idealist hands. That's rich. I concur - we all have our secrets. I wonder what will happen if my filters fail as I age...

Haha...I think all of our filters will fail...eventually :) Thank you, TL!
I once, had a secret in my drawer beside my bed...
But my eyes, looked so much too it, I got blind, and it made me
burry it, in denial. I know what you're saying here my dear friend.
We grow, day by day, and we are like Panta Rhei, :) at least I'd say.
And here, you give me an impression of how fragile and pure,
A mind in true observing terms, can envolve, the fact of being.
Beautifully done Sarah.

"all women have secrets -
mine are scattered somewhere
along the shores of Mar del Plata,
given to the west wind of the Mohave,
lost along the sea cliffs of Kalaupapa"
...you've given me cause to ponder where I shall leave mine! Perhaps here, somewhere along the coast of California...there is a poetic nature to the fabled victorian resort of the Hotel Del.
As always, you enlighten my soul, Sarah!

Thank you, Kelly...and I think that would be a fine place to stash away a few secrets!
