LearningA Poem by Girl Friday (Sarah W.)There are gradients of love - deep
hues without grace of names, that
taste of mango and honeyed pear. I
search with my fingertips, like wings spread delicate
upon the breath of a dying season, for
the lingering exaltation of a passionate horizon, but
I find only empty skies, when there should be clouds softening
the sinking glow of a stubborn sun. There are gradients of love - I
have spent a lifetime trying to express, with
failing words, flavors I have yet to know. © 2013 Girl Friday (Sarah W.)Reviews
